People in County Durham affected by the first major storm of the winter are being asked to share their thoughts and experiences.
Storm Arwen caused widespread disruption when it hit the county in November, leaving thousands of properties without power for several days.
County Durham and Darlington Local Resilience Forum declared a major incident and partner organisations responded by providing a range of support to those affected.
At the time, the council committed to undertake a review and debrief, giving people an opportunity to share their experiences and help improve the response to any future incidents.
As well as consulting the community groups and organisations it worked with during the storm, the council has launched an online survey for the general public.
Cllr Amanda Hopgood, Leader of Durham County Council, said: “Storm Arwen was one of the worst storms we have experienced in recent years, with the impact being felt in communities across the county.
“I would like to encourage people to share their experiences of the storm and the multi-agency response, so that we can build on what worked well and address any areas where improvements can be made.”
The online survey is available at www.durham.gov.uk/consultation. The consultation closes on Friday, 18 March.
